Velocity Newport opened its doors at Newport on the Levee in 2022 with a simple idea: create a place where people could come together, have fun, and make memories.

 

Over the years, Velocity has become more than an entertainment venue. We’ve celebrated birthdays and graduations, hosted school groups and fundraisers, brought coworkers together, welcomed families for a day of fun, and become part of countless celebrations big and small.

In 2026, our story entered an exciting new chapter when Velocity Newport became a locally operated, small business. While our ownership changed, our commitment to the people and community around us only grew stronger.

We believe being a local business means being part of the community we serve. That means supporting local schools and organizations, giving back through donations and fundraisers, creating jobs, building relationships with our neighbors, and providing a place where our community can come together.

Today, Velocity Newport is proudly independent and focused on what comes next. We’re continuing to grow, improve, and find new ways to create experiences worth sharing, all while staying connected to the community that has supported us along the way.
